Mackmurdie

Alan Worsfold has approached me:

I have been a researcher for some 50 years, mainly in the southern counties.

I have now retired to Cavendish and while on a walk around Glemsford we came across a tomb stone with the name of my mother's family name, Mackmurdie. As they are a London area family back to the 1700s I tried to find out more by asking around but no such luck.

It's a father and daughter and I think her name was Rose. Without looking at my records I cannot be sure.

The stone was at the back of the church near the path.

I would be very grateful if anybody could help as this is not an
area they came from .

If anyone can help Alan with any other links to Mackmurdies in Glemsford, I'll be more than happy to pass on any replies.
