Hartley Family

With apologies for the delay in getting this posted, I received this note from Alan Daly in Watford:

We've been looking at your web site with great interest as my wife is
descended from the Hartleys of Glemsford (on her mother's side). Her
GGGF was James Hartley, a Wheelwright, who married Caroline Hubbard at Cavendish, 23.8.1856.

We have found entries relating to Hartleys in Glemsford going back to
1674! But not sure if we have the right ones in our list.
If there is anyone who has some authentic details of the family going back through
the centuries, we'd be very interested to make contact!

Colin Garwood has written to me:

Among your 2004-2005 enquires I noted that Ann Lindsay in France enquired about William Garwood, Bathsheba Ive , James Garwood and Robert Garwood.

William and Bathsheba were my Great Great Grand Parents.
Are you able to relay to Ann that I can give her some information, and photographs of Bathsheba and James and Robert?

Ann's enquiry was 01/11/2004, so I hope I am not to late to make contact.

David King of Windsor, Ontario has contacted me:

I am researching Thomas King born 1720 in Glemsford who married Sarah Mortlock Sept 13 1744 in Glemsford.
They had 8 children.
I am a descendant of Thomas and if anyone could give me more information on the both of them I would greatly appreciate it.
