I am a newcomer to this site.
I have interests in the Oakleys and Argents of Glemsford.
My Gt.Grandfather was an Oakley and there is a connection to the Argents.
Can anyone help?

I have a Mary Argent (1746 Stoke Clare). Whose parents were William Argent(1718 Stoke Clare) and Susan Twitchet (1720 Stoke Clare.
I was wondering if there was a connection?

My granny was Elizabeth Oakley, daughter of Henry (1865) and Eliza (1865) Oakley of Glemsford. I think they lived at Skates Hill. I think Henry had a brother called John, but I'm checking this out as some of the census info mentions a 'Harry' Oakley, and I'm still trying to work out if it's my Henry or not.
