Glemsford and the North: the Lamplighter's Story

Yet another example has emerged of the movement of Glemsford-born people to other parts of the country.

Steve Scott from Kendal has sent me a story written down by his uncle, George Boreham, who grew up in Glemsford, and went to work in the Sudbury Gas Works soon after the Great War.
